At the core of what we’re building is a simple biblical image: a lamp that stays lit.
In Matthew 25:1–13, Jesus tells the Parable of the Ten Virgins. We see how these ten young ladies are waiting for the bridegroom. Five of them bring extra oil. Five don’t. When the moment finally comes, only the ones who prepared are ready. The rest are left scrambling, and unfortunately it’s too late.
It’s a story about readiness and wisdom, but more than that, it’s also about consistency.
The difference wasn’t if you’re among the ten or not. It was deliberate preparation. The wise ones didn’t wait for the right moment and on the contrary they made sure they were ready before the time came.

Faith can grow in big emotional moments. Those moments can be meaningful, but they tend to fade if there is nothing steady behind them. What actually builds a relationship with God is the quiet decision to come back to Him every day, even when you feel tired or distracted. It is not about intensity, it is about consistency.
That is what the oil in the parable points to. It is not a one time act or a burst of effort, but something you keep filled over time. When the moment comes, you do not want to realize that you have been running on empty without noticing. The wise were not better because of a single choice, but because they stayed prepared.
That is the thinking behind this app we’re building. The oil lamp is not just a design element or a nice symbol, it represents something that needs to be maintained. It is a reminder that staying connected to God is not something you do occasionally, but something you return to daily. Small, consistent steps matter more than rare moments of motivation.
The reality is that people do not plan to drift away. It happens gradually, one missed day at a time, until it becomes normal. We did not want to build something that simply reminds you and leaves the rest up to chance. We wanted to create something that helps you stay steady and intentional in your walk with God.
